However, hand-written code can play an important role in the design and implementation of embedded systems. Processor-specific_code such as intrinsic or C callable assembly routines may be required to make the most efficient use of a target processor? s capabilities.
This paper discusses the topic of integrating_processor specific code with Model-Based Design of embedded systems and proposes a workflow based approach to address this problem.
