The project started at first as a MVC Framework with an in-built templating engine, and developed into a fully support CMS.
It focuses mainly on the edit In Place editing concept.
It comes with a built in blog with moderation support, user manager section, roles manager section, SEO / SEF URL.
Unlike most other MVC frameworks this framework includes a simple yet powerful cms Solution. And unlike most other CMS's this CMS focuses mainly on the Edit In Place editing concept.
Another feature of this CMS is that it is currently Flat-File Based, so there is no requirement of having a database installed and configured. Simply unzip the file into a virtual directory and it should start working.
Every page automaticly gets the Edit In Place editing functionality by default, so there is no need to configure anything to get it to work.
The Edit Page Properties section allows to change the Page title, Section Title, Meta Desc and Meta Keywords of every page and for every language version. The user can even Add/Delete and re-order child pages.
The Edit Site Properties section allows to change site level properties such as Default Language, Default template, Site name etc. The user can even Add/Delete site languages and change the default site language.
Most important functions of Mac' s CMS:
• Works on both IIS and Apache
• Built in Flat-File Edit In Place CMS ( Uses the FCKEditor and an AJAX file manager )
• Built in Template Parser engine
• Built in XSS filter engine ( By default all GET and POST data are filtered )
• Geo-Targeting support using the bundled libraries
• Multi-Database support through PDO
• Multi-Language support
• Built in Snippet support ( Comes with BingMaps, GenerateSiteMap and SubNav snippets )
• Built in Chat support using PHPFreeChat
• Built in Blog support with an option to turn on moderation.

• The "Edit Site Properties" section now displays the controller and function that is associated to the current page.
• The CMS User Passwords are now stored in md5 format instead of salted Base64 and the forgot password feature now works much better.
• Fixed some issues with the CMS_Model class.
