This programming language can be used to setup mobile ...

This programming language can be used to setup mobile applications for any Nokia S60 phone.
Demands:
• Python 2. 4 or higher
• S60 C++ SDK
News in the current PyS60 by Nokia Corporation version:
• Writable static variables used in the interpreter have either been to 'const' or moved to a struct allocated from the heap.
• Since the Metrowerks compiler used for emulator builds in S60 SDK 2. 8 enforces type rules in a very strict way, many casts had to be added. These are marked with "XXX:CW32" in the code.
• To save memory the dynamic generation of parser accelerator arrays has been disabled. Instead, a static const copy in python/graminit. c is used.
• In Symbian, explicit DL_EXPORT directives are required to export functions from a DLL. These have been added to all exported functions.
• httplib. py has been modified slightly to work around the nonstandard SSL error behaviour of the S60 socket module.
• Features and functions that are not applicable on the platform have been removed from various library modules.
• Docstrings have been removed or #ifdefed out in most modules to save space on device. Most comments have been removed from Python modules.
• Workarounds to platform bugs have been added at least to modules/timemodule. c and objects/fileobject. c.
• Sign handling was added to python/atof. c.
