xml_fly-out_image_menu by FlashComponents.net is a fully dynamic and customizable vertical menu with fly-out horizontal sub-menus. Each sub-menu item launches a custom hyperlink when clicked.
Customizable features include:
- images - use any images in any size you like in both vertical menu and fly-out menus
- Background colors - each menu category and its flyout may have a custom background color
- Links - each flyout menu image has a custom hyperlink that is activated upon clicking
- Labels - each vertical menu category and flyout images have custom text labels
Furthermore, there are several other customizable features accessible via simple, well-commented actionscript:
- Border color for image
- Alpha transparency of fly-out menu background
- caption text size
- caption text color
- vertical menu image padding
- vertical menu and flyout menu image spacing
For best results, use the same-sized images for all vertical menu categories, and same-sized images for all flyout menu images. It's recommended that the flyout menu images are the same size or smaller than vertical menu category images.
