The advancedTree is a fully skinnable tree component ...

The advancedtree by FFF Web Media Inc. is a fully skinnable tree component which allows advanced Flash developers to display a nested, hierarchy of data (provided as XML) in a branching folder structure. The nodes can be dynamically added, edited, deleted, dragged and dropped within the structure or between multiple advancedTree 1.0 instances. The developer has full control over the level of user activity, graphics (complete look and feel) and animation.

Externally updatabale through XML
The tree can be built either using an external XML file or dynamically through ActionScript.
Dynamically add, edit, delete and drag nodes
Nodes can be added, edited, deleted and dragged and dropped within the structure or between mutliple advancedTree [advancedtree1.0.exe] instances.
Drag nodes between multiple advancedTree - 0MB instances
Nodes can be dragged or copied between trees.
Option to allow users to copy nodes between trees
Specify whether the nodes can be copied while dragging and pressing the control key.
Full control over graphics, styles and layout
The advancedTree 1.0 is fully skinnable to the extent that you an specify your own graphics for every element of the tree. You can also choose the precise padding and spacing between connector lines, nodes and text.
Specify graphics per node type
Each node type can have its own graphic style.
Full control over level of user interactivity
Set exactly what the user can and cannot do. For example, copying of nodes, dragging, closing expanded nodes.
Choice of animation types, speed and easing
Set the speed at which the nodes open and close as well as the type of easing to use on opening or closing. You also have the option to open and close the nodes without any animation at all.
Built-in memory for last position
Use the special built-in tree "memory", to return an advancedTree instance to its display position (in which the nodes are open) even when repopulated with a new XML.
Optional built-in tooltip display
The advancedTree includes built-in tooltips for each node. The tooltips can use either the node's structure or a specified node attribute.
Optional connector display
Choose whether to display the connectors or not. You can also specify the disstance at which the connectors are displayed.
